The SKYCOM Fiber Optic Cleaner Pen is an easy-to-use one-click option for cleaning connectors inside adapters. The cleaner is inserted into the adapter and pushed until an audible “click” is heard.
The mechanical push action advances optical-grade cleaning tape while the cleaning tip rotates. This motion exposes a fresh section of cleaning tape for each operation and helps clean the fiber end-face effectively but gently.
The ergonomic pen-style design is compact enough for field technician tool kits. The product is listed for LC and MU connectors and adapters, with an ODC version also available. More than 800 cleaning operations are specified for the standard cleaner pen.
