SKYCOM Supplied Backbone Fiber Fusion Splicer To China Telecom And Awarded China Telecom's 2024 Excellent Supplier Certification​
Recently, at the 2024 China Telecom Tianyi Supply Chain Ecosystem Development Forum, Nanjing SKYCOM successfully joined the ranks of 69 "2024 Excellent Suppliers" by virtue of its stable supply capacity and technological breakthroughs in the field of backbone fusion splicers. This certification signifies a further increase in the recognition of domestic optical fiber fusion splicing equipment in the construction of telecom backbone networks, and also confirms SKYCOM's core position in the communication infrastructure supply chain.​

Through the independently developed "Optical Fiber Fusion Splicer Discharge Compensation System", the equipment can collect arc image features in real time, dynamically adjust the discharge intensity, and control the fusion splicing loss within 0.02 decibels — this indicator reaches the level of international high-end models, providing stable signal guarantee for 5G base station interconnection and data center backbone transmission. At the same time, the equipment has passed three strict tests of dustproof, waterproof and shockproof, and can operate stably even in complex outdoor environments in remote areas, solving the "last mile" equipment adaptation problem in telecom network construction.

A relevant person in charge of SKYCOM said that after obtaining China Telecom's certification this time, the company will further increase R&D investment, focus on tackling high-precision fusion splicing technology adapted to 800G transmission systems, and contribute to the construction of communication infrastructure for national strategies such as the "Eastern Data and Western Computing" project.​
